Silent Library 1
May 19th, 2008 by RodneyAhh, Monday… the start of another workweek. I thought I’d start out the week with some humor and show a video of those crazy Japanese people and their games. But I also wanted to try something for those of you who can’t see the video due to your firewall. So besides the regular Youtube link, I’ll include another link and hopefully the video will work.
Silent Library is a game that takes place in a library were, needless to say, everyone is trying to remain quiet. Cards are laid out and whoever is the unfortunate person that picks the death card must perform a nasty deed while trying to remain quiet. In this episode, the big guy is Ernesto Hoost from The Netherlands. He’s a kickboxer and four-time world K-1 champion. He’s also a good sport.

Episodes 2 and 3 are pretty funny too. I’ll post those up some time. I just noticed that the alternate link I added doesn’t contain the whole video. Looks like there is a 5 minute limitation with Photobucket. I’ll see if I can get the admins to allow me to upload directly to Word Press and see if that alternative works.

Is the library for the Deaf and Blind? With all that noise and laughter going on, none of the other patrons are even disturbed by commotion.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Some look up while others don’t even bother. Talk about keeping to yourself. I think that’s just their culture - they don’t acknowledge what others are doing. Well, in a library, anyway.
