		<description>Didn't know you no longer eligible if 60. I'm also an organ donor. I wonder if the same age limit applies. I guess no one wants old parts...hey, everything still working! Just had a treadmill test last week and heart still strong...any takers out there?</description>

		<description>Thanks for the postings folks.  This promotion really should be on the younger folks blogs.  The age requirement for being a donor is 18-60.   We're almost, okay not almost, but pass the halfway point of availability.  In other words, we won't be on the registry as long as the younger generation would be.  But we do what we can and set the example when we can.

		<description>I been on the bone marrow registry for more than 10 years now. I also donate platelets/pheresis about every 2 weeks at the blood bank for almost 10 years too.</description>

		<description>A most worthy cause indeed! I had the pleasure of meeting Roy a ways back while getting on the registry; i.e., when they had to draw blood, which wasn't a problem though given the needs of those w/ leukemia.
